With it’s growing popularity and ongoing appeal amongst the younger audience, Snapchat has become a phenomenon of the social media world.

Whilst your little one might be desperate to get their own social media accounts, most of these websites and apps come with age restrictions – Snapchat being one of them. In Snapchat’s own terms and conditions, it is made very clear that you must be over the age of 13 in order to open a Snapchat account. They advise that if you think your child may have an account whilst underage, to get into contact with Snapchat’s safety team.

To find out more about this, take a look at Snapchat’s safety centre: https://www.snap.com/en-GB/safety/safety-center/
